Retired Jason Kane divides his time between golfing, reading, and staying fit, while most of his hours are spent with his passion for creative writing. Kane was educated at the University of Southern California, received an athletic scholarship in baseball, was an All-American, was the school’s National Champion team captain, and signed professionally with the New York Yankees.
In the business world, Kane built a successful multiple-office Executive Search firm specializing in technology. Community service includes being a former city councilman and vice mayor, mentoring Orange County youths, and being a citizen member on the Police Interview Board for the city of Los Angeles. His next book, Aspirations of Greatness, is currently being published.

A: Before The Exchange and Velvet Lies and Iron Gates, Kane wrote Wake Up and Live. A fictional story of Taylor Shaw’s earlier life where he is in an accident and, while unconscious in a coma, travels back to his youth to solve a murder.
